Cooking Baby Back Ribs Step 1: Ingredients and Equipment
Pork Ingredients:
- 2 racks baby back ribs
Ingredients for Dry Rub:
- 2 tbsp of kosher salt
- ½ cup of brown sugar
- 3 tbsp of chili powder
- 1 tbsp of garlic powder
- 2 tbsp of onion powder
- ½ tbsp of ground thyme
- ½ tsp of cayenne pepper
- 1 tbsp of dry mustard
- ½ tsp of allspice
Ingredients for Braising Sauce:
- 1 cup of dry red wine
- 1/3 cup of honey
- 1/3 cup of ketchup
- 2 tbsp of cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp of Worcestershire sauce
- 1/8 tsp of cayenne pepper
- 2 cloves of garlic crushed

- Roasting pan or large baking sheet
- Small saucepan
- Aluminum foil
- Measuring cups

Cooking Baby Back Ribs Step 2: Prepare the Baby Back Ribs
- Place the ribs on the aluminum foil.
- Combine the dry rub ingredients and mix well.
- Sprinkle the rub on the baby back ribs. Fold the aluminum foil over the ribs.
- Place the wrapped ribs in the roasting pan or baking sheet.
- Keep in the refrigerator for 12 hours.
