Follow the steps below on how to cook BBQ beef ribs:
Step 1: In a large roasting pan, mix the beer and barbecue sauce. Make sure all the ribs can fit in the roasting pan in one layer. Before you add the ribs, bring your BBQ sauce and beer mixture to a simmer, then remove it from the stove or gas range.
Step 2: Preheat your oven to 250 degrees Fahrenheit while preparing your ribs.
Step 3: Season the beef ribs with salt and pepper.
Step 4: Rub your skillet with vegetable oil then place it on high heat.
Step 5: When your pan is hot, place the ribs in it and brown both both sides are until brown. Place the ribs in the roasting pan in a single layer then add water that could cover the ribs barely.
Step 6: Cover the roasting pan well with foil and bake the ribs for 3 to 5 hours. Check the beef ribs occasionally. The slower and longer they cook, the better and more tender they will be. Just make sure you don’t cook them too long as the meat will come off the bones.
Step 7: When the meat offers a bit of resistance when you try to pull it off from the bone, the beef ribs are already cooked. Remove them from the pan and allow them to cool down. Store the beef ribs in the fridge.
Step 8: Store the ribs in the refrigerator for up to three days. This will make the meat more tender without making the meat fall off the bones.
Step 9: After three days, you are ready to grill the beef ribs. Heat your grill under low-medium fire and place the ribs on the grill one at a time. Remember that you are only actually reheating the ribs since they are already cooked.
Step 10: While cooking your BBQ beef ribs, baste each side with barbecue sauce or cooking liquid until they are heated through.
