Oven Cooking – Pork Spare Ribs
Here are the ingredients you need:
- 3-pound pork spare ribs
- 2 sliced medium sized onions
- ¾ cup water
- ¾ cup ketchup
- 2 tsp vinegar
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp red pepper
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp chili powder

Place the pork spare ribs in a platter and season both sides with salt and pepper. Make sure to coat the meat cuts with the seasonings evenly. Transfer the seasoned pork spare ribs to a roasting pan. Keep it aside. Preheat your oven to 350° F. In a bowl, mix water, ketchup, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. - 3-pound pork spare ribs
- Barbecue sauce
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 4 tbsp paprika
- Salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp cumin
Instructions for Cooking Pork Spare Ribs on a Gas Grill
After rinsing, pat the spare ribs dry. Get a small bowl and mix chili powder, brown sugar, pepper, salt, and cumin together. Rub the pork spare ribs with the mixture. Place the pork spare ribs on top of another in a metal pan. After all the pork spare ribs have been placed, cover it with aluminum foil. Turn on the gas grill and preheat it at high temperature. Reduce it to medium low after 3 minutes. Put the pan on the grill. Close the grill and cook for 45 minutes. After 45 minutes, open the aluminum foil and rearrange the ribs so that the bottom ribs will be on top and the top will be on the bottom. Cook again for 45 minutes until done.
